I find it easy to be myself with you,
You give me peace of mind and comfort,
It’s not something to be explained in words
But it is always there, making itself heard.
There is no mystery to what I feel for you
Unless it the loss of words to describe it
To give a reason for something my heart just knows
To try to tell you, what I fail to show.
Us being together is a blessed union
Of two lovers that complete each other
Detachment is rare and causes loneliness
Two souls finding each other, amid restlessness.
Soul-mates, heaven joined who will never part
In the middle of distractions and doubt
I will fight hard to keep us together forever

I played hard to get, and loved you from afar, thinking that if you got close, I would fall too hard.
I felt that I was safe if I did not let you near, but you quickly got to me, and I gave up my fear.
You showed me that I could Love again, and you would always be here, Now we are married and Your love I keep near.
Thank you for not giving up when I would not give in, and Thank You for loving me time and time again.
You showed me that love is a splendid thing, and not all love is bad, You showed me real love and gave me what you had.
We now have a family, and life is moving on, and you still remain the love of my life, and my only one.
