The Xiaomi sub-brand Poco has unveiled its latest budget phone to launch globally. Including Ghana and the rest of Africa: the Poco M4 Pro 5G.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G comes with a 90Hz display.
The smartphone succeeds the Poco M3 Pro 5G which was introduced earlier this year.

The M4 Pro boasts several notable upgrades over its predecessor including the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset. This is more powerful and efficient at the same time and has a faster 33W charge.

The Poco M4 Pro 5G is a rebranded variant of the Redmi Note 11 which was launched in China recently.

With good specs for a budget price, including a 5,000mAh battery and 90Hz LCD display. Other welcome additions include a 3.5mm headphone jack and NFC.

However, they are available for purchase in Cool Blue, Poco Yellow, and Power Black colors.

How much is the Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro 5G?

The M4 Pro is definitely affordable. It starts at just € 229 for the 4GB / 64GB model or € 249 for the more powerful 6GB / 128GB variant.

Although both models start on the 11th of November at Poco and Xiaomi stores.

Firstly, dual-SIM (Nano) Poco M4 Pro 5G runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5. Poco on top and features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Dot Display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Secondly, the display also comes with DCI-P3 wide color gamut. Thirdly, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, along with up to 6GB of RAM.

Although the new Dynamic RAM Expansion technology is claimed to expand the RAM to up to 8GB using the built-in storage.
The support of dynamic RAM expansion and expandable storage is up to 1TB using a microSD card.

The Poco M4 Pro 5G has a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front.

On the storage front, the Poco M4 Pro 5G has 128GB of internal storage that supports expansion via a microSD card (up to 1TB).

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR) blaster, NFC, FM radio, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also comes with an X-axis linear motor and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
