The Xiaomi 12S Ultra slots in nicely among the Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro. The Xiaomi 12s Ultra packs a 1-inch sensor into its chassis.
Launched on the 4th of July, which coincides with the American Independence Day, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra is a new smartphone of retail standard focused on its camera- you get a 67W charger. In design, the eco-leather makes gripping the 12S Ultra much easier. With all these features it was revealed the phone will be made available exclusively in China.

The body dimensions of the phone come at a measurement of 163.2 x 75 x 9.1 mm (6.43 x 2.95 x 0.36 in).

Main Camera Specifications of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra:

The cameras on the back of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra are all at the pinnacle of smartphone imaging. The biggest attraction of the phone is the 1-inch Sony IMX989 main camera. The camera bump is definitely more prominent this time around, thanks to the larger sensors, and the overall design.

It combines 50.3MP in a 4-to-1 pixel binning to produce 12.5MP images, it has multi-directional phase-detect autofocus, a laser aid to that AF system, optical stabilization, and a wide 23mm lens with an f/1.9 aperture.

You can shoot Cinematic mode videos with the 1-inch Sony IMX989 main camera, choose your own Photographic styles and take super close-up shots with a new macro mode that leverages the ultra-wide camera. 

The 1-inch IMX989 didn’t make its first appearance on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and actually debuted on the Sharp Aquos R7

Xiaomi 12S Ultra Review: Display

This mobile handset can compete with the best smartphones in the world right now as it comes with a wonderful display of LTPO2 AMOLED which pack 1B colors.

The display quality has a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, a 20:9 ratio (~521 PPI density). That’s basically a 2k+ screen display.

 This 6.73-inch panel can dynamically scale its refresh rate from 10Hz to 120Hz, which results in smoother overall performance and animations. The screen also features Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and the brightness is up to 1000 nits (HBM) with the Adaptive setting off and hits a peak brightness at 1500 nits (peak) Adaptive setting on.

The new Chipset from Qualcomm- SM8450 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (4 nm)which delivers fast frame rates and silky-smooth action even as you zoom is the chipset used in the phone.

The CPU Octa-core performance is clocked at (1×3.19 GHz Cortex-X2 & 3×2.75 GHz Cortex-A710 & 4×1.80 GHz Cortex-A510). It also comes with a GPU of Adreno 730.
