Accra Academy is a non-denominational day and boarding boys' school located on Winneba Rd at Bubuashie, near Kaneshie.
Accra Academy is one of the most popular institutions of higher learning in Ghana and can boast of academically stimulating programs ranging from Science, Economics, Mathematics & ICT, Business, Visual Arts, General Arts among others.
Accra Academy was established as a private secondary educational institution in 1931 and gained the status of a Government-Assisted School in 1950.
The programs run in the academy are general arts, general science, agriculture, business, and visual arts. Four residence hall names are; Alema, Awuletey, Ellen, Halm Addo
Academy students are involved in Extracurricular activities through their membership in school associations and clubs on the school campus.

Accra Academy was founded on Monday 20th July 1931 by four young men namely, DR. K.G. Konuah, G. N. Alema, James Acquaye, Halm-Addo, and Samuel N.
