6. Bartending Tricks You Can Master

Basic Flip

All you have to do is grab the bottle by its neck and spin it around in front of your body before catching it again!. For beginners, the smaller the bottle the easier it is to spin and flip. The drink will pour when they catch on. The action required is to flip a glass from behind your back with one hand and catching it in front of you with the other.

Ice Throwing

This is when the bartender throws a few cubes of ice in the air and catches them (all) in the glass or shaker you are using to mix the delicious cocktail.

Bottle Stalls

Flip like a pro with this one tricky trick! To master it for beginners, you need to get the bottle spinning in your hand before catching it. This skill requires a lot of balance, you can start by letting the object hang by holding it by its neck between your thumb and index fingers. Flip and rotate it upward and stall it on top of your hand.

Tin Pivots
